The Line
THE LINE is the story of a family who live in the outskirts of Toowoomba. A few years out of school, Eric still lives at home with his single mum, a nurse at the local hospital. His estranged grandmother has recently come to stay after some memory lapses lead to some small disasters. When his mum is called in for a last-minute night shift, she requests that Eric cancel his date and stay home with his grandmother. What starts as a lost opportunity for Eric, slowly begins a relationship with his gran that will see him unveiling secrets in a long-held family tension. The next morning Eric discovers a phone ringing. A mysterious rotary phone and an unknown caller. Eric soon discovers that the strange caller may offer a connection to the past with the hope of changing the course of destiny. The Line is a story about the bond of family and the unexpected events that change our lives forever.
