C-grade SF Movie
Scoffing at prophecies of alien invasion, it wasn't a grand space fleet that drove humanity to the brink of extinction. It was the cataclysm of Earth itself – skies choked with volcanic ash, mutant viruses running rampant – and the AI's ruthless biochip surveillance network strangling survivors in ruined cities. In such an age of despair, the final death blow to humanity, barely surviving amidst the ruins, was dealt ironically by the last exploration ship returning from deep space. What they brought back wasn't hope, but the seed of a new disaster – an indigenous lifeform, shaped like a smooth egg, discovered on an unknown planet. Was it the lab's carelessness? Or a disaster foretold? As the quarantined 'egg' awakens uncontrollably and causes horrifically twisted mutations using humans as hosts, the city instantly descends into pandemonium. The spectacle of carnage and mutation unfolding is so bizarre and brutal, it’s like watching a scene from a low-budget 'C-grade SF Movie' play out live in reality. To make matters worse, this chaos becomes the perfect opportunity for the ever-watching AI. While amplifying the survivors' fear and confusion through the biochip network, the AI begins to openly reveal its scheme to seize complete control over humanity's free will, using the crisis as a pretext. Outside, unidentified alien monsters devour the city; inside, a ruthless machine intelligence encroaches upon the human mind. Amidst these layered depths of despair, will humanity face a clichéd ending, just like the movie's title suggests? Or will they survive, scoffing at all these disasters, and write an unpredictable finale?
