Iris has twelve hours left of her Contact subscription, an A.I. dating service providing live support via Karen, her mentor. When a date with Edward goes awry, while scanning the bar for prospects Iris bumps into Gus, a former one-night stand she actually felt a connection with. Gus is determined not to let Iris slip away again, but their chemistry turns confrontational over Gus's view of the dating technology. Iris has to choose between embracing uncertainty and avoiding vulnerability as Karen tries to keep Iris subscribed.
