The film was written, shot, and edited in 48 hours as part of the “Cinema Sprint” competitionElik, a 30-year-old man coping with a past injury and a life marked by loneliness, receives a phone call informing him that he has been selected to participate in a pilot program for a groundbreaking artificial intelligence. What begins as an amusing gimmick — changing voices and demonstrating impressive knowledge — gradually turns into an intimate and unsettling encounter with a system that seems to know everything about him: beyond facts, beyond memories, perhaps even beyond time itself.As Elik chooses to “upgrade” the system, its abilities expand — from accessing deeply personal information, to predicting the future, and eventually to seemingly altering reality itself.
