Taku Mizuno, a third-year high school student, secretly has a crush on his classmate Aoi. Aoi is always surrounded by her best friend Rina Yokoyama and other outgoing boy students, while Taku, who is socially awkward and an introvert, can only watch Aoi, who is popular girl at school, from the shadows. One day, Taku and Aoi get lost in a mysterious world where no one else is around.A mysterious man appears before the confused pair and tells them that the condition for both of them to return to their original world is to join their hearts and realize that there is only one human to the “Core" which balances the original world and this mysterious another world. Both try hard but don’t know how to "join their hearts," and fail due to Taku's communication disorder. Few days past and Aoi is touched by Taku's kindness, but Kudou Yuta, who Aoi had a crush on, appears in front of her. Will Taku and Aoi be able to return to their original real world?
