Lore has finally made it through the Hireath Spaceport. Now all she has to do is wait for the Kalsarikännit to arrive. And wait. And wait some more. Hours pass as Lore grabs sleep wherever she can, completely unaware of the chaos unfolding aboard the Kal. Meanwhile, Captain Zaw is having the kind of conversation nobody wants to have—especially when it's with an ex-wife. And especially when that ex-wife is also your boss. While Lore dreams of finally starting her new job, the crew of the Kalsarikännit is discovering that some relationships never really end.
