Set in the stillness of pandemic isolation, a Pennsylvania farm becomes the entire universe for a fragile family trying to hold themselves together. Shot with elements of found-footage and starring a real-life family on their own farm, Creturs blurs the line between fiction and lived experience as it captures the quiet unraveling of a home under pressure. When their young son discovers a cluster of otherworldly eggs and nurtures them in secret, his small act of hope collides with a world already destabilized by fear and uncertainty. As the eggs hatch, the family must confront not only a mysterious new lifeform encroaching on their land, but the terrifying realization that they cannot fully control, protect, or preserve the life they’ve built.
