In a future where artificial intelligence has become deeply woven into human society, a long-dormant protocol known as “Source Code” is suddenly activated, pushing the world toward collapse.
Miaomiao, a traveler from the future, arrives in 2026 with a desperate mission: find Li Siyuan, the creator of the code, before he completes the algorithm that will change history forever.
But Li Siyuan is not the visionary she expected. Once passionate about the future of AI, he has become isolated and disillusioned after watching technology rapidly erase the value of his life’s work.
As time begins to fracture, an unexpected bond forms between them. Through Miao Miao, Li Siyuan gradually discovers that the future is not defined only by control, fear, or technological evolution, but also by fragile human emotions that continue to survive within an imperfect world.
The deeper they reach into the past to save tomorrow, the more they realize that some destinies cannot be escaped — and that those who try to change history may already be part of it.
