BSFFF 2026 - Join us for a special online screening of Rewind!
As part of the Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Festival 2026, Rewind will be screened online through the festival’s streaming platform — and I’ll be there in the chat to watch it with you and talk about the film.
Rewind is a science-fiction short film about love, loss, memory and our desire to go back in time.
The film was shot in New York over 10 years ago, with Valentine Potten in the lead role. We had no crew and no budget — just a camera, a story, and the opportunity to spend a few days filming around New York and Coney Island.
After being completed years later, Rewind has now been selected in competition at the Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Festival, in the Best Live Action Short Film category.
This Watch Party is a chance to discover the film together, wherever you are in the world.
June 15, 2018. On the Coney Island pier, newlyweds Gwen and Eric share a fleeting moment of happiness — until a robbery ends Eric’s life in an instant.
A few months later, Gwen is withdrawn, unable to move past her grief. When she hears about Rewind, a company that lets people relive memories through virtual reality, she pawns her engagement ring to revisit one moment: the day Eric placed a rose on her doorstep to propose.
But once immersed in the past, things unravel.
